    Northman Company Ltd, founded in 1971, has grown into a global manufacturer of hydraulic directional valves, control valves, and pumps. We are dedicated to quality and customer service.

    Northman Fluid Power is located in Carol Stream, IL, a suburb of Chicago. From this location we service our North American customers in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

    Northman utilizes state of the art technologies, environmentally acceptable alternatives and strict quality processes to meet or exceed our customer’s expectations of increased productivity and lowered operating costs while respecting the environment.

    Northman has successfully implemented an Automatic Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) in order to consistently manufacture our hydraulic products. Northman was awarded ISO 9001 certification in 1995. In 1996 Northman installed a Kolene process cleaning system to ensure product quality and cleanliness. In 1998 Northman received its CE Certification. All valves are 100% tested to ensure consistent performance and high quality.

    Northman’s reputation for reliability is built on high quality products, manufacturing systems and engineering. For our customers, reliability has a leveraged effect on process and manufacturing reliability and ultimately total plant efficiency.
